Scar is the bad guy from Disney s The Lion King ( the whole this is roughly based on Hamlet ) This is a character, a drawing, I did because of work. I had watched The Lion King with the students, and I had wanted to do something, artistically to reflect that. This one is appropriate for me because one of the art classes I had taken was at Disney World. ( when they were first drawing this movie ) Often in cartooning and animation, heroes are drawn with broad curves and circles, where as villains are drawn with more jagged lines. This explains why I have Scar hunched over, close to his with such a jagged shoulder. That sort of “pointyness” is scattered throughout the drawing. Is all in that little cave.
