The Riddler, also known as Edward Nigma, is someone who always thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. When done correctly, he is. This attitude has brought him into conflict with Batman more than either man would like. Artistically, the most important thing about Nigma, is his obsession with question. Visually I can thing of no better way to do that, than with a giant question mark. Nigam, with his cockiness and attitude would even think that he is more important than the questions themselves. That is why I have him sitting like that. ( personally I always prefer him in a suit and hat with question marks, rather than that silly one piece suit from the Superfriends cartoon ) He knows he s the cock of the walk… at least for now.
