Nightwing is Dick Grayson. Dick Grayson is the first comic book sie kick, the first boy to be Robin. Now he’s all grown up, now this Robin flies on his own. ( sorry , that was cheesy ) One of the reasons I like this character so much is he s the only comic character who has been allowed to grow. When we first met Grayson, he was 10! Other characters grow a little, but the always revert back to the why they were when that writer was first introduced to them. I also love Nightwing because he is comics most well rounded person. He is like Batman, only Nightwing is good with other people. ( take that Batman ) Since I know he used to be in the circus ( as a little kid ) I try to bring that into my illustrations. I always have him swinging on something or in a position that an acrobat might be. As you can see here, Wing is wswinging away from a courthouse, with 2 people on the stairs, at night.
